Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Kamalvasini Tech (“we”, “us”) regarding your use of the Tuition Manager mobile application and this website. By installing, accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian to use this app. By using Tuition Manager you confirm that you have the right to enter into this agreement under applicable Indian law.
2. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tuition Manager for your tuition center / coaching institute management. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
- Resell, sublicense or distribute the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Bypass subscription billing or unlock premium features without paying
3. Account & Setup
The app does not require a remote account. You set up your institute on first launch with a local PIN/password. You are solely responsible for safeguarding this password and the device on which the app is installed.
4. Subscription & Billing
Tuition Manager offers a free version with core features and a Premium subscription that unlocks Backup & Restore, Late Fee automation and Additional Fee generation. Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing.
- Subscription fees and durations are displayed in the app and on our Subscription page.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can cancel any time through your Google Play account: Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Refunds, where applicable, follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Google Play's policies.
5. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the app (student records, fees, attendance etc.). The data is stored on your device. You are responsible for:
- Backing up your data regularly (the Premium plan offers Backup & Restore)
- Complying with applicable laws when collecting student/parent personal information
- Obtaining required consents from parents/guardians of minors before storing their data
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Tuition Manager to:
- Store data in violation of any applicable law
- Harass, harm, or defraud students, parents or employees
- Violate privacy or data protection laws including the DPDP Act 2023
- Tamper with the app, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or distribute malware
7. Intellectual Property
Tuition Manager, the “Kamalvasini Tech” brand, the app logo and all related materials are owned by us and are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark laws. The license granted in Section 2 does not transfer any ownership rights.
8. Updates
We may release updates that add, modify or remove features. We use Google Play In-App Updates to deliver important updates. You are required to install critical security and policy updates to continue using the app.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Tuition Manager is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Defects will be corrected immediately
- The app will meet your specific business requirements
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Kamalvasini Tech's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data due to failure to back up.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Kamalvasini Tech and its developers harmless from any claim, demand or damage arising from (a) your use of the app, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party rights including data protection rights of students or parents.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to premium features if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 7-13 survive termination.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar. Before filing any suit, the parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through mutual discussion for at least 30 days.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
